Lutheran Church in Monona, Wisconsin.

Please submit: paintings in any medium, framed photography or works on paper, sculpture, ceramics, jewelry, poetry chap books, handmade art books, soft sculpture, textile arts, wood carving, etc.
If you have questions about what to donate, please contact Pastor Bruce Burnside at St.Stephen’s Church: 222-1241. St. Stephen’s reserves the right to decide which works will be displayed in the show.

The Israeli occupation of Palestinian lands has been a hardship for people trapped in this decades-long political struggle. Augusta Victoria Hospital, a health care facility funded by the Lutheran World Federation (LWF) has served Palestinian refugees in East Jerusalem and the West Bank for over 50 years, and through its humanitarian work continues to be an important expression of the Christian presence in the Holy Land. Augusta Victoria Hospital, situated on the Mount of Olives, was established as a hospital after the war of 1948. Initially under the control of the Red Cross, in 1950 it transferred ownership and management to LWF.

Donations are due at St. Stephen’s between Feb 20 and March 27, 2008. Please pick up a form from the church office to fill out and submit with each donation or download it from this site. Donations are tax deductible. The entry form will provide that receipt. Artwork or photos on paper should be matted or framed so that they can be easily hung. If you have extra prints of a particular piece, this will be indicated on an information tag next to your piece.
